Good morning, everyone!!

 I know it has been a while but I am back with my May Fashion Wishlist. Basically, these items are things I chose for May that I will purchase or I am lusting over. I love reading these type of posts so I just wanted to share my picks with you. Here we go. 

1. High-waist Sunflower Shorts from Asos Curve- These shorts are too freaking cute. From the moment I saw them I knew I wanted them. Asos has a really great plus size line and I cannot wait to get my butt into these. (Most of this list is from Asos Curve. Just warning you.)
2. Elephant Print Tassel Shorts from Asos Curve- What more do I need to say? Elephants. Tassels. Shorts. My favorite things in life combined into one article of clothing that will make me look like an adorable five year old instead of a sexy 20 year old. And I am okay with that. 
3. Retro Digi Watch from Asos- Even though I just started this blog, I am certain that my obsession of watches will show eventually. I have dozens of watches in many colors but this has to be the most interesting watch I have ever seen that is not five figures. I love retro style watches like this (I have been hunting for those old-school calculator watches for a couple of years now, any hints?). 
4. Gingham Midi Skirt  from Asos Curve- This skirt is adorable and I cannot wait to get it. I know for certain that I am buying this so hopefully I can do a Outfit of the Day or something like that for you guys. 
5. Leaping Tiger Dress from Asos Curve- It has taken me a long time to convince myself that I need to feel comfortable in my own body no matter what my size. So, one way I wanted to accomplish this is by wearing more prints. Hence this really quirky tiger print that I am in love with. With the hot days of summer in Louisiana, I can really see myself being the eye of the tiger with this dress. (Cheesy? I know.)
6. Chanel Backpack- Okay, the main purpose of me putting this Chanel backpack on my list is to express my love of backpacks for the summer. I love the trend so much. Why I chose the $3000 Chanel bag? No idea, just thought it was epic. I will not be purchasing this any time soon. 
7. Silver Sandals from Birkenstock- I have never really been a fan of chunky sandals until this year. I know these are trendy and every celebrity is wearing them but these things look comfortable as hell. That is one of the main reasons I want them: for comfort. These are on the expensive side, so I may find some knockoffs that will do the job just as well. 

That is my May Fashion Wishlist. I may be doing a Beauty and Random Wishlist in the near future.

Designer Spotlight- Veronica Beard

Good morning everyone!!

One of the segments I want to start with "Good Morning, Autumn" is Designer Spotlight. I, one day, hope to become a fashion designer and I know that in order to become successful I need to grow a fan base. So with the Designer Spotlight I will be highlighting different designers that you may not be familiar with or designers that I admire.

This week's spotlight goes to sister act designers of Veronica Beard.

Before starting the brand in 2009, Veronica Swanson Beard worked in fashion, while Veronica Miele Beard worked in fiance. The two decided to join forces and culminate their ideas to create the urban-chic brand, Veronica Beard. In the beginning, the two only had their (now famous) jacket with the removable dickeys to present to stores and markets in 2009. However, those simple ideas slowly turned into a marketable brand for stores to have. 

I did not know about Veronica Beard before this year. And thanks to CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund I discovered one of my new favorite designing women. They were chosen out of hundreds of designers for the ten finalists for the fund. Even though they did not win they gained much needed exposure and mentors that they would have not gotten if they had skipped the fund.

Good Morning!!!!

Good morning readers, 

How are you doing? Are you having a good morning? 

I know I am because I am finally pulling through and committing to writing this blog. I have been trying to blog for 2 or 3 years now and it has not ended well. 

I guess before we get into the full swing I should tell you about myself. 

1. My name is Autumn and I am almost 20 years old (My birthday is in 9 days!!)
2.  I am currently a junior at LSUS in Louisiana majoring in Marketing with a concentration in Ad Design (just switched my major like a month ago, so we will see how this goes).
3.  I live with my family and I am freaking proud of it!!
4. I love fashion and every aspect of it, you may see some outfit of the days, fashion show reviews and clothing hauls on here. 
5. I am plus size and I am trying to find a way to love my self. (I am getting close, don't worry.) 
6. I want to work in the fashion industry in some way; designing, merchandising, marketing/advertising- whatever will get me to the fashion world. 
7. I love baking, so you will be seeing many recipes and such on  here. Be prepared. 
8. I love books, music, movies, T.V. shows, magazines, Pinterest, Tumblr- I love everything!! So there is going to be a mixture of all of those things on the blog too. 

I know this may seem like another blogging mess but I have a very good feeling about this blog. I hope you guys enjoy what I have to bring. There will be another post very soon.
